B.Sc. Dialysis Technology (BDT)

B.Sc Dialysis Technology is a, a three-year undergraduate programme that deals with dialysis methods. The course focuses on the artificial process of removing trash (diffusion) and undesirable water from the blood (ultrafiltration).

Students will be exposed to the medical concepts of blood chemistries, dialysis principles, kidneys, dialysis systems and devices.  Also the  students will learn how to use various dialysis equipment to assist patients' treatment.

The main goal of the BSc Dialysis Technology programme is to generate competent technicians who are completely efficient in promoting a significant impact in the life or death of someone suffering from renal failure. This programme combines theory, practicals, and clinical exposure to provide theoretical understanding.
