The Bachelor of Occupational Therapy is a comprehensive 4.5-year undergraduate program affiliated to Kerala University of Health Sciences (KUHS), designed to develop skilled occupational therapy professionals who assess, treat, and rehabilitate individuals with physical, mental, developmental, or emotional disabilities to help them achieve maximum independence in daily living and work environments.

Curriculum: The program covers foundational subjects including Anatomy, Physiology, Psychology, Sociology, Pathology, Biochemistry, Pharmacology, and specialized occupational therapy courses in Psychiatry, Paediatrics, Neurology, Orthopaedics, Rehabilitation Medicine, Community Medicine, Research Methodology, and Healthcare Administration across four academic years with extensive clinical placements.
Training Approach: Progressive learning through classroom lectures, practical and laboratory demonstrations, bedside clinics, self-directed academic activities, and clinical postings in hospitals and community health agencies. Additional activities include library hours, seminars, case discussions, guest lectures, and physical education totalling comprehensive professional development.
