The Women Empowerment Cell plays an active role in the college to empower women community at the college making the campus a safe place by understanding and addressing the issues they face inside the campus. With a view to addressing women’s issues and problems, the cell aims to create awareness on their rights and duties. It also provides a platform for women to share their experiences and views regarding their status in the society and to suggest ways to improve and empower themselves and the women around them. Aiming at intellectual and social upliftment of the female students, the cell stands for facilitating women’s empowerment through guest lectures, seminars, awareness programs and other welfare activities.
