Alumni Association
The alumni of KMCT College of Allied Health Sciences (KMCT CAHS) form a dynamic and engaged community of healthcare professionals making meaningful contributions across India and abroad. Since its inception in 2013, KMCT CAHS has produced graduates in key allied health fields including Physiotherapy, Medical Laboratory Technology, Optometry, Perfusion Technology and Cardiovascular Technology. Many alumni have gone on to pursue higher studies, work in leading healthcare institutions, and contribute to healthcare delivery globally, especially in countries like the UAE, UK, and Australia.
The KMCT CAHS Alumni Association plays an active role in fostering connections between past and present students. It regularly organizes alumni meets, career guidance sessions, academic recognition events, and charitable initiatives. Notably, alumni celebrated World Environment Day in 2019 by planting trees on campus. During the pandemic in 2021, an alumna hosted an online session guiding graduates on professional opportunities in the UK, reflecting the community’s commitment to mentorship and global readiness.
In 2022, the alumni association instituted an "Excellence Award" for academic achievers, reinforcing the culture of excellence and encouragement. The following year, alumni donated a commemorative clock to the college as a token of gratitude and lasting bond with their alma mater.
The association is supported by a formal alumni committee led by Principal Dr. Santheep S, with representation from faculty, management, students, and industry. Through this structure, alumni contribute to institutional planning and quality enhancement.
The KMCT CAHS alumni network is a testament to the college’s commitment to shaping socially responsible and professionally competent healthcare practitioners. By maintaining strong ties with the institution, they continue to inspire current students and uphold the values of compassion, innovation, and service that define KMCT’s educational mission.
