Bachelor of Science in Anaesthesia Technology is an undergraduate program that focuses on training healthcare professionals to assist anesthesiologists in the safe administration of anesthesia. The program covers subjects such as anesthesia equipment, pharmacology, patient monitoring, critical care, and operation theater procedures. Graduates are skilled in preparing patients for surgery, managing anesthesia equipment, and supporting perioperative and emergency care in hospitals and surgical centers.
Candidates who have passed Higher Secondary Examination of the Board of Higher Secondary Education or equivalent, having minimum 80% marks.
The selection of students for the BAT course is strictly on merit basis as decided by the competent authority approved by the Government of Kerala/Kerala University of Health Sciences.
A candidate on admission to the BAT course shall apply to the university for registration.
