World Book and Copyright Day April 23,2025
The Department of Library and Information Services of TBH College of Allied Health Sciences organized a program titled ‘Inked Ideas’ on 23rd April 2025 to celebrate World Book and Copyright Day. The event aimed to promote awareness about the importance of books, reading habits, and intellectual property rights among students.
The program was formally inaugurated by the Principal, Dr. Prof. Santheep S, who addressed the gathering and emphasized the significance of books in shaping the intellectual and moral values of students. His words inspired the audience to value books as powerful tools of knowledge and cultural exchange.
A series of engaging competitions were conducted as part of the celebration. These included Dubsmash, Find the Author/Book, Elocution, and a Quiz competition, all designed to encourage literary curiosity and creative expression among students. Each event witnessed enthusiastic participation and showcased the talent and knowledge of the students.
At the conclusion of the program, prizes were distributed to the winners of the competitions in recognition of their efforts and excellence. The event was a grand success, fostering a deeper appreciation for books, authors, and the role of copyright in protecting creative works.
